The frame is flattering yet fashionable, the perfect combination. The innovative aesthetic, celebrating the inner workings of the frame, provides a modern alternative and allows the wearer to make a statement with their eyewear.
How does it feel to be shortlisted for this award?
This is the first year that we have entered the AOP awards and to be shortlisted is fantastic news. These days eyewear is more than just a necessity for patients, eyewear is an accessory, eyewear is a statement and eyewear is an extension of our personal style. With this in mind there has never been a greater need for innovation in design. At International Eyewear we recognise the importance of considered product design and have invested in this area by increasing our Product Team from one designer to three. For us to be shortlisted is confirmation that our hard work is paying off.
What would it mean to win?
The optical industry is changing and customer attitudes are changing. Throughout the market challenges and company instability over the last few years, International Eyewear has maintained its market presence and has continued to produce good quality eyewear, something, which we pride ourselves on and which S564 is a prime example of. 2018 is International Eyewear's 30th birthday, what greater way to celebrate than to win the AOP Frame of the Year Award!
